Nathan has finally started taking a pacifier. Since he was born, we have tried over and over again to get him to take a paci. Well, a few weeks ago he decided it was time. It is so nice to have something that will calm him when we can't hold him, bounce him, pat him and shh him all simultaneously...He really isn't that high maintenance any more. He has been so cute and such a joy. 5 months old seems to be that magic time for me to feel like we can go anywhere. Paul has been on call all weekend, so Nathan and I went to the pool with a friend and then Nathan and I went shopping and for some ice cream.
